Award-Winning Wireless Event Technology from Silent Noize Events

Awards are not the reason we do what we do, but recognition from the events industry is a valuable reflection of the work happening behind the scenes.

Through our sister company, Silent Seminars, we've been recognised by leading industry organisations including the Event Technology Awards, International Confex and ESSA. While Silent Noize focuses on creating immersive experiences through silent disco and wireless event technology, Silent Seminars applies that same expertise to conferences, exhibitions, education and professional events.

Together, the two businesses share a belief that wireless audio should do more than simply deliver sound. It should give organisers greater flexibility and audiences more choice in how they experience an event.

Silent Seminars has received recognition at the Event Technology Awards for both Best Use of Wireless Technology and Best Exhibition Technology

Event Technology Awards: Putting Wireless Audio to Work

Silent Seminars has received recognition at the Event Technology Awards for both Best Use of Wireless Technology and Best Exhibition Technology.

For us, these awards highlight the possibilities that wireless audio creates beyond the traditional silent disco. The same technology that allows thousands of people to enjoy different music channels can transform a busy conference or exhibition, allowing multiple sessions to run simultaneously without competing sound.

For Silent Noize, that shared expertise is an important part of our wider approach to event technology. Whether headphones are being used for a dancefloor, presentation, film screening or live experience, the aim is the same: use wireless technology to make events more flexible, engaging and accessible.

The International Confex Contribution to the Industry Award was awarded to Silent Noize Events Founder and Director Duncan Strain

International Confex: Recognising Contribution

The International Confex Contribution to the Industry Award, awarded to Silent Noize Founder and Director Duncan Strain, recognises something broader than a particular piece of technology.

It reflects the contribution that Duncan and the wider business have made to the events industry, from developing new applications for wireless audio to working alongside organisers and production teams to overcome some of the practical challenges of delivering large-scale events.

For Silent Noize, that industry experience is part of what sits behind our own work. Being part of the same group means we can draw on knowledge developed across conferences, exhibitions, festivals, corporate events and live experiences.

The ESSA Unsung Hero Award was presented to Silent Noize Events’ Craig Cattell

ESSA: Celebrating the People Behind the Technology

The ESSA Unsung Hero Award, presented to Craig Cattell, recognises a side of the business that audiences rarely see.

Behind every successful event is a huge amount of preparation. Equipment needs to be checked, maintained, organised, transported and ready to perform when it matters. Craig plays an important role in that process, helping ensure thousands of headsets are prepared for events across the UK and internationally.

For both Silent Noize and Silent Seminars, the award reinforces an important point: great event technology depends on great people.

The equipment may be what audiences see, but it is the expertise, preparation and attention to detail behind it that makes the experience seamless.

What This Means for Silent Noize

The recognition achieved through Silent Seminars is something we're proud to share as sister companies, but we're also focused on what it means for the future.

Our ambition is to continue finding new applications for wireless audio technology, from silent discos and festivals to conferences, exhibitions, education and accessible event experiences. That includes looking at how technology can help people with different needs participate more comfortably, give audiences greater control and help organisers make better use of their spaces.

The awards are therefore more than a collection of industry accolades. They represent the experience, innovation and people behind the technology that we continue to build on at Silent Noize Events.

We're proud of what our sister company has achieved, and even more excited about where that shared expertise can take us next.
