Silent Cinema

The Best New Year’s Resolution

January is almost over, despite this many of us are still (trying to) stick to our New Year’s Resolutions. Lots of you have probably broken them, and some might be still trying to think of a decent one (or two)!

If, like us, you like to shake away the cobwebs after Christmas and NYE and do something entirely different, maybe you should think about putting on an event for your family, friends or colleagues?

We’ve covered everything from Silent Discos to conferences, exhibitions, weddings, cinemas and exercise classes!

No two events are ever the same- we can help you celebrate by providing staff or just leave you equipped to carry out your celebrations!
Whether you’re looking for a noise-friendly solution to keep the neighbours happy or just enjoy watching people mime to music whilst in a world of their own, get in touch today and we’re bound to have something for you!

Christmas Party Time - Silent Disco Hire

Tis The Season

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s nearly Christmas…. Some of you may already be in ‘party mode’, with office parties- food, drink, music and awkward dancing aplenty! If you’re a party booker/goer keen to organise and attend something a bit more fun and memorable, why not try a silent disco on for size?

Over the years, we’ve provided equipment and headsets for huge black tie events, as well as corporate dos and small, private parties. All our packages are bespoke and we can provide a tailored quote for all occasions. Whether it’s just headsets or you need the full caboodle, we pretty much offer it all at Silent Noize Events. We even work with a specialist photobooth company to provide an added element of fun to your event.

In need of a DJ? No problem! Our fantastic DJs can provide both traditional and silent discos! But if it’s dry hire you’re after and you’re worried about compiling the music, never fear! We can also provide pre-loaded iPods with all your favourite tunes!

Take a look at some of our previous Christmas parties below and get in touch with us if you’re interested in partying like it’s 1999!

The Big Red Ball

Last week Silent Noize Events provided 350 headsets for charity, Right To Play’s annual Big Red Ball.

Right To Play focusses on providing access to education, equipment, opportunities and support across the globe. The event, now in its fifth year took place at the Roundhouse in London raising over £400,000 on the night.
Our headsets were used for the centrepiece of the night, a ‘secret course’. After the main course, guests were invited to listen to powerful stories from the charity’s coaches either in Pakistan, Burundi or Lebanon.
It was a great night for a fantastic cause and we were happy to be a part of it.

Silent Noize Events are taking our wireless headsets on the road to Event Tech Live on November 9th and we’re excited!

So What’s It All About?

As one of Europe’s only conferences for event technology, we’ll be exhibiting alongside app developers, connectivity pros and data and analytics specialists. With live demos throughout the day and expert Q&A sessions from the likes of Scott Wilcox (Chief Innovation Officer & Partner at SXSW), the schedule is looking pretty full.

In the past, the event (now in its third year) has enjoyed guest speakers from the likes of Eventbrite and Microsoft and we’re sure this year is going to be a good ‘un!

You can you register for an e-badge here. We’ll be at stand 14!

Award Time!

On top of this, we’ve also been nominated for two awards at the Event Technology Awards taking place on the same date. We’ve been shortlisted for Best Conference Technology and Best Exhibition Technology for the Google I/O Extended event that took place in May. We provided conference and exhibition headsets for the global, interactive event that took place in Google’s HQ in London.

The Brit Awards 2016 After Party!

The Brit Awards 2016 After Party

Last week was a very exciting one for Silent Noize Events as on Wednesday we headed down to London to provide entertainment for The Brit Awards 2016 Afterparty!

We were set up in our very own gold, silent disco shed alongside The Vinyl Buyers Club DJ’s and we kept the party going until the early hours. Alongside us there were some other fantastic entertainers such as: The Singing Psychic – telling peoples fortunes through the medium of song titles, Punkaraoke – giving guests a chance to get up on stage and give us their very own Brits performance, The Chav Carboot Sale – a hilarious, interactive comedy sketch trying to sell the guests a whole world of unwanted rubbish and then The Scare Maze – a full on spooky extravaganza with live actors.

It was a fantastic experience, getting to see performances from Critics’ Choice Award winner Jack Garratt plus Aluna George and Izzy Bizu! We also bumped into some other famous faces including Alisha Dixon, Laura Whitmore and Kimberley Wyatt.

We were and still are extremely honoured to have been asked to provide entertainment for such a prestigious event and hope to find ourselves back at The Brit Awards Afterparty next year!

UK Festivals 2015

Here are some great UK festivals we’ve had the pleasure of working with this year, we still have a few more festivals to come but we think you should definitely try and check them out next year!

Carfest – http://www.carfest.org/ – A dream of cars, music, food and masses of family fun – a dream conjured up by Chris Evans and brought to life in Cheshire and Hampshire. Here are some great pictures from Cheshire and we will be joining the team #PeugeotLive again this weekend for Carfest Hampshire. The silent disco will be held in the big top every night from 6.30-8pm but we would highly recommend getting there 15 minutes early to queue up as we run out very quickly. Headsets are free of course! Our DJs who will be going head to head with our battle of the channels will be DJ Peachy and DJ Craig C who both play a mix of old and new so they’re will be plenty of selection for both the parents and children to sing, dance and conga to.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival – https://www.edfringe.com/ – The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest arts festival in the world and takes place every August for three weeks in Scotland’s capital city. Last weekend we arrived at George Square Gardens for a fantastic silent disco with #TiaEspressoIce #CoolBeans milk float & the wonderfully entertaining duo @TheMacTwins

Lakefest – http://lakefest.co.uk – We’ve been all over the UK this summer and we’ve been providing all types of festivals with our fantastic fun filled nights with Silent Noize. Here is another one of our favourites Lakefest!

Lakefest was born unofficially on April 9th 2011 when Croft Farm Waterpark hosted its inaugural music and cider festival. The 2011 effort was essentially a giant cider festival accompanied by some great music. Over 9000 pints of cider were enjoyed by revellers that shared a super special day in the sunshine. It was an epic experience for everyone and the so-called ‘lads’ (organisers) chose to grow things a little in 2012… Lakefest was bor
Bristol Zoo’s Big Night Out – http://www.bristolzoo.org.uk/ – Fun and frolics were had by all. We hope to get invited back next year!

Silent Disco

Wedding Silent Disco Fun!

I absolutely love working for Silent Noize, especially the silent disco weddings!

My wonderful friends Dan and Rach decided to declare their love for each other in front of their friends and family a few months ago. They officially tied the knot in Birmingham registry office but in order to have their dream celebration they decided that they would erect their own venue for the day in the style of a big top circus tent with added festival feel on top!

They aptly named their wedding ‘Wedstock’.

Luckily both being from creative and theatrical backgrounds, Dan and Rach planned a very alternative themed day. Of which most was built or made by themselves, friends and family. I would happily describe it as magical, funfair, shabby chic, vintage, futuristic, rock’n’roll style day.

Without going into too much detail (as the happy couple actually wanted to write about their own experiences and share with the world) we all had an amazing day and a ridiculously fun fuelled evening.

I decided to take one of our Silent Noize silent disco kits which meant that we not only had multiple channels of music to listen to, but the Bristolian sheep in the surrounding farmland could get a good night’s rest without having to listen to all of our guilty pleasures blasted out across the countryside.

A fun time was had by all and we just about (we’d had a few drinks by this point) managed to capture some images of our wonderful wedding silent disco!

If you want to find out more about having Silent Noize Events entertainment at your wedding/venue please take a look at our wedding page or request a brochure by emailing rachel@silentnoizeevents.com

Wedding Silent Disco

REAL WEDDING: Anna and John’s vintage afternoon tea

Vintage afternoon tea, eclectic tea cups, a live artist, BBQ food, card readings and a silent disco. This is one hell of a wedding! Anna and John were determined to have a fun, relaxed wedding which reflected their personalities. Ultimately, a wedding is all about the union of two people who love each other, and want to throw a bit of a party to celebrate it.

And what do we remember about parties? The table cloths? The appetizers? Nah, it’s all about the fun we have! And judging by the silent disco photos (see below) everyone had a blast!

We’ve picked out some of our favourite snippets and pictures of Anna and John but you can read the full article here at World of Wedmin: http://www.worldofwedmin.com/blog/real-wedding-anna-and-johns-vintage-afternoon-tea/

‘my favourite part of the whole day had to be the silent disco in the evening! Never in my life have I seen a dance floor packed for so long, it was amazing and I have had so many people asking about how to do it- something I would highly recommend to anyone!

Although I’m sad it’s over I’m so thankful for everyone’s help and time they put into our big day. My biggest advice for future brides to be is to not stress about the small things as everyone is there to celebrate the love of the two of you, it’s unlikely anyone will notice any small hiccups anyway. Enjoy every single moment- it really was the happiest day of our lives.’
